<p>&bull; Are you a life/biomedical science PhD graduate who obtained his/her degree in the UK and is now returning to your home country?<br />
&bull; Do you want to get some paid training in qualitative biopharma market research?<br />
&bull; Are you interested in pursuing a career in biopharma consulting within your home country?</p>
<p>We are looking for talented, inquisitive fast-learners to train up in our London headquarters over a period of 2-4 months who would then have the opportunity to partnering with us upon returning to their home country. We are particularly interested in citizens of emerging markets such as China, India, Brazil and Russia but more broadly we would be interested in hearing from you if you are from Latin America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.</p>
<p><strong>The Position</strong><br />
As biopharma companies globalise their sales and operations, we too are building our network of consulting professionals to meet the need strategic needs of our international customer base. Our aim is to train you with the basic research and consulting methodologies, to then partner with you once you are established within one of our region/country of interest. Where your time overlaps with one of our regular externally commissioned training events (previous examples from McKinsey and INSEAD consultants), you will also be invited to participate in these. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As an intern you will be working as a team member with Research Consultants and Consultants on a range of projects, to support our consultant on a range of activities from research through to proposal writing, giving you a strong exposure to the day to day running of a life science competitive strategy consultancy. As an integral part of the team, we will help you develop valuable professional skills and depending on your skill set you may be asked to participate directly on strategic research projects. Personable and enthusiastic, your can do attitude will push you to go the extra mile. The learning curve will be steep and often challenging and you will get the support you need from a focused and dynamic team, but the professional rewards will be highly significant. We will provide training at the onset of your position to ensure that you can capitalise as best as possible on your time within our organisation.</p>
<p>The starting dates and duration of internship will be discussed with the suitable candidates on a mutually agreeable basis. This internship would suit also PhD candidates in their penultimate or final years as well as Masters students.</p>

<p>Demonstrating knowledge and experience in pharma or biotech consulting, with particular focus at the product/brand level, the role requires the ability to develop sales opportunities, manage a portfolio of existing clients and deliver high impact projects by effectively employing a range of rigorous research methodologies.</p>
<p><strong>&bull; Project Management:</strong> To communicate with the client directly to ensure that project scope and objectives are met and that all requests are handled in a timely, accurate and relevant manner. Finalise and present deliverables to the client. Lead the client – and be led by him – to ensure that the optimum results are achieved.<br />
<strong>&bull; Account Management:</strong> Maintain excellent working relationships with existing clients to deliver consistent quality in all outputs. To actively seek and respond to new opportunities within existing client base and participate where necessary in gaining new clients.<br />
<strong>&bull; Proposals:</strong> To participate in the preparation of research proposals for existing and potential new clients. Attend client meetings to pitch for business and help in the formation of work orders.<br />
<strong>&bull; Research and Analysis:</strong> To be fully able to conduct – and manage others conducting &#8211; primary and secondary research using a range of information sources according to project scope and therapeutic area and to execute analysis following this research in order to produce high quality client deliverables.<br />
<strong>&bull; People Management:</strong> To maximise working relationships with both internal and external researchers to match skills to business area requirements and actively develop skills internally. Ensure that Research Consultants are stretched in their learning and are appropriately managed to ensure that future resourcing needs are met.</p>
<p><strong>Desired Skills &#038; Experience</strong></p>
<p>&bull; Product strategy consulting experience (> 1 year) and/or MBA<br />
&bull; PhD in Science (Life Science preferred)<br />
&bull; First hand experience of primary and secondary research within the biopharma space<br />
